What they don't know is that kids could have stress as well. They just cope with their stress differently. Some may go outside and play or some may talk to a frtiend. For moms and dads, they feel like they should always be the ones stresed out because they are the paying the bills. Teens could be stressed out about work, classes, and/or anything related to that. Another thing it could be is personal isssues.
There are alot of kids out there that are dealing with their own issues the only way they know how to. Some of them may try to hurt themselves, try to kill themselves, or try to kill others which is NOT a good idea.
I tend to deal with my stress completely differently. Music is my way of life. Everytime I deal with stress, I try to play music that matches my mood. It helps me understand as well as others to understand how I really feel.
There were plenty of times when I went through stressful situations. It would be either stress from school or stress from my internal feelings. Sometimes it was kind of hard for me to deal with. There was a specific situation I had to deal with recently that stressed me out.
That situation was too much homework. I couldn't really keep myself on a balance. I would go to basketball practice, come home, do homeowork, clean. There would days when I would have homework from all different classes and there was not enough time in the day to finish it.
How I would deal with that was be precise and balanace out my time. I would come home and do half of my homework first. Then I would clean up, get in the shower, and then finish the rest. While doing my homeowrk I would make sure that my music would be turned up loud so that I could focus. Unfortunatley I have to turn it down when my mother gets home.
To me that is not something I like to do. I like to have my music loud because I feel as if it tunes the world and my problems out. How do youthink I should deal with my stress? If any suggestions, please comment.
